How was your race?

Well, this was my first race with a wheel, my first race in in 100% mode, and also my first race in a World League! In the begining it was a bit dificult to get used to it. Itīs very diferent from driving with keyboard, so i was a bit nervous. I didnīt want to make any mistakes... In some points of the circuit I was afraid to put the car off the track, so I was driving very carefully... I think that I would lose too much time when I was overtaking the slowest drivers during the race. Just for caution! But at the end, I think it was a good race.

Did the team helped you in the race?

Yes. I have always the help of the Teamīs Staff! And I would like to thank them all for it! In qualifying this help was precious, because they helped me a lot with the car. They gave me all the support that I needed to be competitive! And also, I would like to thank my team-mate, because he gave me some good information about the track, and how to improve my performance... Thanks Daan!

The Team Manager also gave me all the support he could during Qualifying and during the Race. In the Race I had some problems with the carsetup, and the mechanics didnīt get a perfect setup for me... So I needed to make some changes in my driving style to adapt to the car during the warm-up session. I worked very hard and fast during the warm-up session, to improve my performance during the race...

What was your strategy?

My objective... Well... Basicly it was to do my best on the track, and a good result should be: mantain the the starting grid position during the race and to reach the podium! The strategy to get this was to make a clean and calm race defending my position. To reach my objective, I choose to make 2 pitstops, which I consider to be the least number of pitstops that each driver should make during the race. I made my calculations, tested the tyres, the amount of fuel... And before the race starts, I was thinking that I was doing the right choice. But at the end I understood, that I made a mistake during my calculations, and the best option was surely: 3 pitstops.

How is the connection between you and Daan?

Well, what can I say? Heīs a great team-mate! ;) Heīs very fast, a very good driver. He is the perfect team-mate! He didnīt have too much time to speak, he joined the team in the last few days, and we only had time to work and prepare for the Australian Grand Prix... With only a few hours to get to know each other, I think that we will make a very strong team...

What do you expect of Kuala Lumpur?

About the next Grand Prix, I know nothing about this circuit. I never drove there before... So Iīm waiting for it! I will do my best. I will try to adapt the car to the circuit as the fastest as possible... And I hope to make a good qualifying and race sessions. Itīs all I wanted to say... Thanks!
