MCR were thrilled with Andrew Turner's fantastic drive at the Brazilian Grand Prix, bringing him to within one point of the championship lead.

However, the weekend wasn't all good for the team. Chris Jones failed to get off the start grid for the second consecutive race following complications.

The team is comfortably in second place at the moment, heading to Imola where team manager James Menzies is seeking two strong finishes from his drivers.

"It's been a series of highs and lows so far," says Menzies. "We are thrilled to have Andrew in the championship battle, and to be second in the constructors. But we have thrown away some important points. This is to be expected early in the season with a rookie team, but we must be sure to come away from Imola with as many points as possible."

Turner's drive from fourth on the grid was spectacular. The driver said he struggled throughout the race, and was said to be pleasantly surprised with his finish.

Meanwhile Jones, who has shown flashes of greatness in testing and qualifying, was frustrated by his misfortunes. He has vowed to come back with a vengeance in Imola, and MCR is confident both drivers will deliver at the next Grand Prix.
