A thirsty (as always) William Ponissi has given us a brief interview about his qualifying session in Imola.

"Of course I am not fully happy about my result; I think I could have challenged Daan and the KRB's with a bit of luck. But I am luckier in love, I guess, so I am satisfied with 16th - that is, leaving some cars behind me! We have still big problems with the lack of bhp, and there's nothing we can do."

When asked about the situation in the team, the 190-cm Irishman answered "Well, I don't think I am backed by the team in the way I should be. The management isn't providing me with a teammate and a testdriver to help me on the setup. And if I take something from my hotel room's fridge, I can't charge it on my team's account."

Any prediction for the race? "Well, with a bit of luck - again - I could maybe get a point or two. That obviously mean taking any chance I can have without making mistakes myself. I think this is a demanding track - it will be fun to race it. I can only wish - as they say here in Italy - in bocca al lupo!"

Willy then left, heading to S.C.U.M pit, where he had a cold beer with former teammate Dan Regan.
