BA Racing set the 2nd quickest time in testing at Magny Cours - France today. The team is working hard on reliability as we feel that as long as we finish each Grand Prix, we are certain for a points finish.

Dan Lawrence was upbeat about his 1st day running at the French circuit. "Yeah, it went pretty well today. I am focusing on reliability of our already pretty reliable Cosworth engine but at the same time addressing my own weaknesses as a driver. I think I lack consistency over a race distance, so today have been concentrating hard on setting consistent lap times to a reasonable effect. There is atill a long way to go, although I was able to set 6 laps all within 0.100 of each other [in a row]..which shows I am on the right track. Also, I think I can draw from my own improvements as a driver since the beginning of the season because I have improved by 2 tenths of a second on my pre-season time at France - despite being 35bhp down compared to the testing car I drove and running on a reasonably high fuel level! ...and I KNOW I will improve tomorrow ...so it's looking good!"

Lawrence is set to test tomorrow [Thursday], while #2 Mal Mckee is scheduled for Fridays session, with Lawrence returning on Saturday for the final day.
