Southern Cross United Motorsport successfully tested it's new Reynard-Windmill chassis at the Circuit de Nevers near Magny Cours, France.

Harding tested the chassis and some new components on Wednesday and Thursday then the still ill Regan did tyre testing on the new chassis along side supplier Michelin.

Regan said "Rab was fairly close to the pace of the higher horsepower teams even though he mainly concentrated on longer runs. I'm still struggling with this damn sinus infection so there was no way I would have even tried to go too quick. This is a track where you have to go at least 100%, which is bloody hard to do when you're only feeling about 50%"

"We're both gonna jump in our new helicopter and fly back to Imola this arvo to compete in the F3000 race. I think I'm just gonna try and sleep until the morning of the race and hopefully I'll be feeling well enough to compete. If not, I'll just use the time to rest up for the race in Spain and hook up with the Reynard boys to go over the data from the tests here".
