The GPVWC Board received this message from Brendon Maw:

"I have just received this message on ICQ from my partner, Dan Lawrence:

::Dan - GPVWC::: I think that it would be for the best if we stopped this partnership (running the league together).. I can not work with you.......and you anger me with nearly every thing that you say and do.... I am furious with the email that you sent to me......WHY wait until now to say that you had a problem with something that i did weeks ago!!! This is not the way we should be working......

::Dan - GPVWC::: you may think that i am being harsh..... but i have spoken to a few people over the last few weeks....and they have all expressed their disappointment in the way you are running this league (or trying to run it.....taking over more like.....)........

This release is to anounce my retirement from the GPVWC. If everyone is unhappy with my performance in the running of this league then I have no choice but to leave, I will not fight this. I will leave peacefully and cause no harm whatsoever, as I really love this league and being part of it, and I'm very sad that the situation has become this bad. The email that Dan referred to was over a matter which I did question at the time, and I knew that Dan wouldn't be happy about my view on that matter. I wrongly decided to forget it, and I don't really know why I mentioned it in the email, but clearly I have handled this wrong. I am sorry.

As my last words I want to say good luck to you all, I really believe some of you have a lot of great times ahead with sim racing. Thank you for allowing me to share in your committment to this great game".
