Stealth-Honda had two varying results at the Austrian Grand Prix this weekend, with another strong 4th place for Joe Consiglio but an unfortunate DNS for Martin Ortiz.

Team Principal Ted Cragg explained the situation: "Martin went to do his race but suffered an unexpected mechanical glitch, which lead to his car breaking down. As a result he was unable to complete the race, despite the solid pace he has shown so far. It was a frustrating turn of events but I'm sure one that virtually everyone will find familiar."

For Joe Consiglio though it was another solid weekend throughout, coming from a strong grid position to finish 4th for the second time in three races. "I really had no problems in the race, aside from being held up by traffic a couple times. But it was another comfortable performance, and if not for another strong BMW race we would have had a podium finish" he said. Consiglio also recorded the 5th fastest lap of the race, and has now accumulated 20 points on the season.

The Stealth-Honda lineup will see at least one change for the Monaco Grand Prix, as Joe Consiglio takes the race off and new test driver Bernardo Bercht steps in to take his place. But there are growing concerns that Martin Ortiz' problems may continue into next week, in which case Stealth will be either struggling to find another driver or else will only be able to enter one car. Stay tuned to the news for the latest updates.
