There have been a few problems with the Drivers lately.

While both drivers have been practising for the Silverstone race, a major problem has occured. A-Racing's technical director and Team Manager - Andrew Dickson commented, "Richard has always suffered from a less advanced Steering method than many other drivers, which he felt would be OK at the beginning of the season. We spent time developing a top of the range Steering wheel and software.

It was a week before the Australian G.P. that this technology was complete, and we decided to fit this to Connolly's car as he was severely underpowered at the time. Chris was immediately fast - but now, 4 races later, we are experiencing car failure problems, where the whole cars software keeps crashing due to a fault in the wheel.

We are still unsure as to what the exact problem is, and are actually very worried as to whether Chris can compete in a race distance. The engineers and software experts are very busy, and will be, until the problem is fixed. So all of us have our 'fingers crossed' for the fault to be fixed as soon as possible."

A Racing are also in the middle of developing an even better steering device, which will not be ready for many months. There is the chance that the technology may not be first tested until next season. Dickson will be the first one to experience this technology due to his poor device that he currently manages to do quite well with. If the bug in the software for Connolly's car can not be fixed before the Britain race - he may have to withdraw from the event and instead look forward to the Canadian GP in a further 2 week time.
