EIRE team Manager, Willy Ponissi, was astonished after watching the German GP from his hotel room in Constanta, Romania. He soon phoned the team in Germany to congratulate them with the team's best result ever.
"It's amazing", he said, "I knew Wilko was fast, but I didn't think he was going to perform so well in his 1st race in the GPVWC! I am now buying a marble block, I will make a statue of him!"
