Team changes
Only 5 teams remained from the end of 2020 season; THUnderdog, Downforce Scalextric Racing, Valle eSports, Fryslan Racing Team and the GPVWC Academy team.
- RBA Racing, HGP Motorsports, Nova Simracing, Eight-Six eRacing and Santen were promoted to Supercup for 2021.
- Asombik Esports, DriveGameSeat Simracing, Madness Racing, Rookie Monsters, Team Gridline and Geo GrandPrix withdrew from the Career Ladder after 2020.
New & returning entries
- TCS off Racing and Scuderia Clay KAP moved down from the Superleague Lights Championship to race in the Formula Challenge.
- Deltec Racing and Smile Power Racing both re-entered the careerladder after being out for several years.
- Alfa Sierra Simracing, AlphaDelta Racing, Apstineo Force Polonia, Kings Racing, Nova Finlandia, SRG and Team Ferlič all joined at the beginning of 2021.
