"It' has really felt like the longest few weeks of my life!" Those were the words of Innervision driver Ben Warren, who has been sidelined away from the track for a number of weeks after having two minor operations during the past few weeks due to a huge bladder stone that has been causing the Englishman various problems during the past year or so. While he isn't completely recovered from his surgery, he has been cleared to return to the cockpit for Round 4 at the Hangaroring, something Warren is extremely excited about.

"Even though I've only missed the last 2 races for Innervision, it really has felt like its been a lifetime since I was driving, and I've definitely missed racing even more than I thought I would. I'm delighted I'm able to race as soon as this week, as I my recovery has not been without problems, but I've improved a lot the last few days, and I'm now definitely ready for my return!" Warren is also expected to return to testing duties for Superleague outfit Nordsjoen Racing this week as well. "Regrettably I've not been able to spend a great deal of time working with the guys at Nordsjoen, and have only had a few chances to test the car, but now I'm able to return, and with my surgery all completed, its fantastic I can now fully focus on my role both in Supercup, but also in Superleague."It has been a surprisingly difficult start to the season for Innervision, who before the season were widely tipped to be one of the front running teams in the Supercup. However, with Warren's only race so far at Melbourne ending in retirement, his replacement Alex Rolls unable to score points, and 3 retirements in 3 races for regular teammate Dave Carr-Smith, it's been nothing short of a disaster. "Our season begins here in Hungary", says Warren. "Although this is not one of my favourite tracks, and I'm not expecting to suddenly be back on the pace straight after the enforced break from driving I've had, I would love nothing more than to kickstart the team's season with a points finish."
