The GPVWC first ever Independent Series for open-wheel cars is set to mark several firsts for the organisation, while the popular GT competition is resumed.
The new oval- and street course-based series, named Atlantic Series in honour of its American roots, will see the GPVWC make its first regular foray into Indycar-style racing.

Building on the success of the Indy 500 event featured in the 2014 Masters Series, the Atlantic Series will open up a completely new market for GPVWC.

The new series will be run on rFactor 2, marking another evolutionary step for the league, and will be joined on this platform by the returning World GT Championship.

After missing out on the roster in 2014, the new GT competition will see drivers compete for 1-hour races on some of the best GT machinery.

Details of the signup process and rules for the two series will be shared by the Administration soon.
