Superleague engine manufacuter Talos confirmed they will be providing engines for two teams in 2018.

Despite being the second most expensive, the Lake District-based manufacturer successfully negotiated deals with newcomers Measuric Racing and also managed to keep their one customer from last year, Edonis Engineering. In fact, Edonis were the only team to stay with the same engine for 2018 (ignoring the manufacturer teams).

All three teams have close connections, with Measuric driver Wopke Hoekstra managing Hawkeye last season and racing for Edonis as a stand-in. Measuric's other driver, Dino Paolini was also reserve driver for Hawkeye.

Hawkeye boss Ric Scott was optimistic with the engine provider's chances: "I'm excited to be working with Menno and Mike to help shape a strong engine to give us all the best possible chance of reaching our targets."

The three bosses expect this close-knit group to give the manufacturer a great chance to have a clear and concise development plan to please all teams.
