The 2021 Supercup season will be the 14th GPVWC Supercup season.

Teams and drivers
Team changes
- TG Racing, TCS Off Racing, Fusion Racing and 2019 champions Zedderick Racing were promoted to Superleague Lights.
- Enterprise Pulsars, Shift Gear Racing, GT Omega RPM eSports, Drillers Esports, Racing Team Schroten and Torrent Racing opted not to continued after the 2019 season.
New & Returning entries
- AB Racing, mouseOne Racing, PZZW Racing Team, Kellamity MTR, H2O Namaco, Razor GP, PLS Racing Team and RTD Simracing were all promoted from the Formula Challenge.
- PB Racing and THUnderdog both returned to the Career Ladder after taking multiple years out.
- Pescara SRT entered directly into Supercup series for 2020.
- Satellite Racing were dropped from Superleague Lights after the 2019 season.
- Gallery 82 Motorsport made their debut at the second round of the 2020 season at Bahrain as the 15th Supercup team.

The 2021 season changed its raceday from the traditional Tuesday to the Thursday, every two weeks. The 2021 calendar follows the 16-round limit introduced in 2019. The first round will take place in Australia and the last will take place in Brazil, with each race taking place on a Thursday, every two weeks.
