From their offices in Manchester, United Kingdom, Hatchell-Pennine Motorsport team manager Liam Hatchell announced this afternoon that new driver Toby Jones will head the line-up for their latest effort in the GPVWC Formula Challenge in 2012.

'I am delighted to announce that we've got some fresh talent for our team this year. I am yet to speak to Toby about his opportunities for 2012 but I can guarantee that he will be supported entirely throughout the season, and any concerns he may have will be addressed by the whole team. I don't know anything about Toby so I really look forward to getting to know him, his driving style and his requirements and ambitions for this year and the years ahead. It should be a great journey for both of us', Hatchell claimed.

He continued to discuss his thoughts of running a team after three years away from the helm.

'I have always enjoyed running small teams in lower series', as it further enhances my desire to develop new drivers and encourage them to excel and progress into the more established teams and disciplines'.

The team are yet to confirm their livery and their second driver, however they expect to do so within the next two weeks.
