After missing the first 3 rounds of the Formula Challenge series, team manager William Tringas was delighted to sign GPVWC newcomers Paul Parkinson and Geoff Meade as race drivers, with fellow rookie Louis Wedekind as a reserve.

The team's race drivers took a little time out of their preparation for tonight's round to comment on their expectations. Paul Parkinson played down his chances, stating that he was looking forward to the race even though he was struggling to set up the car. "I'm
just going to concentrate on getting a good start and will try to finish the
race. I'll be happy just to finish and not be the last car running".

Geoff Meade, having been buoyed by his recent signing as Superleague outfit Red 5 Racing's 4th driver, was aiming for points on his GPVWC race debut. "I am looking forward to making my debut at Petrolija, I hope that I can do myself
justice and repay my manager's faith in me. But as tonight will be my first race I will be looking to stay out of
trouble".

William Tringas was delighted to finally get his outfit off the ground, after spending the first three rounds in negotiations with several drivers only to see them sign with other teams. "It was definitely frustrating, but the wait seems to have paid off. Paul and Geoff are two very dedicated drivers, and I'm sure they will find success in this series. I'm confident that before long we will see them in the higher tiers of GPVWC competition, and hopefully Streetfighter will be right there with them."
