The Canadian newcomers unveiled their driver pairing for their debut FC season, drawing on a talented duo that should compete at the highest levels from the start.

STAX Racing is proud to reveal their driver lineup for the upcoming 2017 Formula Challenge series. Being the first step in the GPVWC Career Ladder system, the series is known for having a very competitive grid with hot new talents eager to prove themselves against experienced and established drivers. In their first ever GPVWC Career Ladder season, STAX Racing are eager to hit the ground running, which is why they are excited to have signed two very talented drivers.

In car #36 will be Menno Klont. The Dutchman is a very experienced driver with more than 100 starts in the GPVWC Supercup to his name, so when he announced that he was looking for a seat in this year's Formula Challenge season, STAX Racing were excited to sign him. His knowledge in open-wheel cars will definately help them in their first season in the GPVWC Career Ladder. Menno had the following to say:

"I joined STAX Racing because I felt that I had some unfinished business in Formula Challenge. Christian asked me to join quite early and it instantly felt like a serious option and in the end I felt this is something I should do."

Driving alongside Menno will be Chris Shepherd in the #37 car. Having witnessed his pace and commitment in touring cars for the last two years, the team is very pleased that Chris decided to make his open-wheeler debut with STAX Racing.

"It is with great pleasure that I have secured the seat for the upcoming Formula Challenge season with STAX Racing. I never raced single seaters before, so this will be very interesting and I am eager to see how I fair against the other drivers. I do believe that, with a lot of practice, my team mate and I can achieve some great results" said Chris.

The first race of the season will be held in Melbourne, Australia on March 7th, 2017. STAX Racing will keep you updated on their website (www.staxracing.com) and their Facebook page.
