The Chinese Grand Prix has been held as part of the Superleague season on numerous occasions, all of which have taken place at the Shanghai International Circuit. The Grand Prix was first staged during the 2006 season and ran until the 2014 season, with the exception of the 2008 and 2013 seasons. The Grand Prix was dropped again after the end of the 2014 season and has returned for 2017.
