The Swiss driver returns to the job he did so well in 2015, producing the highest number of car and engine development points in the whole Superleague field.
David Jundt, a multiple podium finisher in Superleague during his top-flight career, has established himself as one of the top testers in the league.

Not only was Jundt the highest-lapping driver in the Test sessions in 2015, bringing home the maximum number of development points for Nordsjoen, he did so with pure Swiss efficiency - often completing only two non-timed laps on top of his points-paying effort.

"David is a top talent and the most competent tester I have ever seen," said Nordsjoen Team Owner Will Ponissi. "He thoroughly deserves a full race seat, but as soon as we knew he was not going to race in Superleague, we lost no time in signing him."

The extension of Jundt's contract will surely prove a boon to Nordsjoen's own engines, Martex. With the uber-reliable Swiss in charge during test sessions, the power unit manufacturer will be confident to remain on top of the development race in 2016.

"When developing a top engine, all you want is to be able to rely on a test driver to give you as many eRD points as you can," continued Ponissi. "David is a guarantee for us and for all the teams who will join Martex."

David Jundt was also a safe pair of hands when called to deputise for absent Nordsjoen drivers in 2015, finishing in the points in the three occasions he took to the track, with a best result of fourth in Austin.
