Six customer teams chose Martex power units for the forthcoming season, making the manufacturer the best-represented on the grid in 2018.
New teams and veterans alike chose the brand, which will now be looking at developing another leading engine after claiming wins and championships in the previous seasons.

League stalwarts Red Archer VRT and experienced Storm Racing, MadCape Racing Team and Red Bull Streetfighter Racing Systems all opted for a Martex engine for their 2018 campaigns, with each of these teams expected to mount a strong effort and challenge for the title.

There was plenty of enthusiasm on the side of new teams, which responded very well to an attractive price that allowed to have front-end machinery without breaking the bank. Epic Racing Team and Flag-to-Flag Simracing both threw in their lot with Martex and will be expected to be competitive from the get-go.

Nordsjoen Team Principal, Will Ponissi - whose team will oversee the development of Martex engines - welcomed the new teams: "It's wonderful to see so many teams believing in our project. The Martex philosophy is one of openness and we will take onboard the input of all our customers. Their success is our success too and I am sure 2018 will turn out to be a season to remember for us all."

Martex are already establishing talks with all customers to ensure the 2018 development plan starts in earnest with the first pre-season tests.
