The newly rebranded ACR Zakspeed team, fresh off the back of the drivers and teams titles in 2017 announces the line up to secure those titles in 2018.

In car #14 it will come as no surprise Risto Kappet retains his seat, eleven podiums later and having been part of the 2017 teams championship winning team plus runner up in the drivers standings. The Masters and World GT champion has shown he is one of the best and with Rudy van Buren racing elsewhere for 2018 has the right to feel he can go one better this year and fight for the drivers title.

Car #15 will be piloted by Supercup champion Alex Siebel. The German dominated in 2017 with 18 wins and caught attention with great stand-in Superleague drives. Alex makes the step up to full time Superleague with a point to prove, following in the footsteps of the last German Supercup champion to make the leap into the team.

In a reserve driver you want reliability, speed and the ability to jump in the car when required and score well, ACR Zakspeed has that in spades for 2018.

Official reserve driver 2017 Formula challenge champion, Maciej Mlynek has all the credentials, he has proven in 2017 he has the speed and also the experience as a reserve driver to fill in to great acclaim. Surely a future Superleague driver but for now a great reserve for the team.

Second reserve is 2015 Superleague Drivers champion Philipp Puschke. The former champion is working on his return to GPVWC and is already working hard with the rest of the ACR Zakspeed team ahead of 2018. The team is very proud that as our former champion Philipp will be working within the team once more upon his recovery.

"Everyone at ACR is excited for 2018 at GPVWC, we could not have brought together a more knowledgeable, experienced, dedicated and fast group of drivers than we have assembled for this season. GPVWC 2018 is looking incredible and we cant wait to get going in the pre season tests. Having brought home both titles last season that has to be our aim once again but we are loving the look of the competition this year and cant wait for round 1" Mike Pitman Co-Owner of ACR Zakspeed.

The pre-season livery is inspired from the VBM branding of 2017 and the historic Zakspeed F1 colour-scheme, made by Douglas Hilliard on RFactor2 byt Studio 397 once more I hope you will all agree its a beauty.
