The YTF1 sim-racing team today confirm their driver lineup for the 2018 Supercup season, with a combination of new talent and experienced hands in the team for their debut Supercup campaign.

Johan Lindberg was previously announced at the team back in December, moving up to Supercup himself and staying with the team he started his Formula Challenge career with in 2015. Today the team are delighted to announce that Yuri Kasdorp will be joining them for 2018: Yuri has a formidable reputation in endurance racing and now hopes to establish himself in single-seater races;

Yuri Kasdorp: "This will be my first season in the GPVWC after climbing the ranks of endurance racing, because I want to now climb the ranks in open wheel racing as well. I enjoy driving the Supercup car and so this is where I will begin racing in the GPVWC. I've joined YTF1 because I see a lot of potential in the team and I hope we can surprise some people - I feel confident that I can win races and challenge for the championship this season. The goal is to be in Superleague next year!"

Johan Lindberg: "I'm happy to drive for YTF1 again this year and I'm really looking forward to working with Yuri. The opposition will be tougher for me than last year but I'm hoping to score good, regular points for the team."

Team Owner, Matthew Allington also had words to say: "With Johan and Yuri we look to be in a very strong position for the 2018 Supercup season. Testing so far has established that we have a great combination of raw talent and setup expertise in the team and I believe that other teams should be worried - if our pre-season pace carries through to Australia and beyond, us 'newbies' can fight with the established teams and make our season a successful one."
