The 2009 Superleague season was the 10th GPVWC Superleague season. 2009 was an important year in GPVWC history, for it was the first time the league had ventured into online competition. The league’s chosen platform was the fully customisable rFactor simulation.

The season saw six different winners, Joe Consiglio, Adam Rouse, Janne Tanskanen, Luis Fernando Laaff, Dave Carr-Smith and Lee Morris, all stood on the top step of the podium over the course of the 18 round campaign.
Consiglio took six wins on his way to championship glory in 2009. His closet rival Janne Tanskanen picked up three victories but retirements and non starts put pay to any chance of the Finn taking the crown.
