List of Superleague driver records/2000
This is a list of driver records in the GPVWC Superleague Championships, in the year 2000.
Statistics relating to age will only be rough as birth date information was not and still isn't a necessity for the GPVWC.
Races entered and started
Drivers are considered to be "entered" into a race if they attempt to compete in at least one official practice session with the intent of entering the race. These drivers are noted on the "entry list" for that race.
Originally, a driver would have been considered to have entered if he had declared his intention to do so. Unfortunately, due to gaps in the records, there may be inaccuracies with regard to race entries. Thus, race entries will be based initially on recorded information if a driver set a recorded time during any free practice or qualifying session for any given event. Eventually, as more information becomes available, race entries prior to 2009 for people who had submitted any laps but who had "missed the timing sensors" will also be added, whether they took part in the race session or not.
A driver is considered to have started a race if they line-up on the grid (or at the pitlane exit) for the start of a race. For races from the 2009 season onward, if a driver appeared in the race session but disconnected at any stage during or after the formation lap, that driver will be considered as having started the race.
The entries and starts are now complete for all drivers who qualified in the first two seasons of the Superleague until their last appearance in the GPVWC. No driver who competed in the GPVWC beyond the 2003 season, with the exception of Jason Endean, who made a comeback in 2005. Of the 2001 season, only Bruno Moreira competed beyond 2003, making his comeback in 2006.
