PENALTIES
  • De Vries vs Roszak & Rance - Rance and Roszak make it 3 wide with de Vries and both fail to leave appropriate space for other cars on the exit. Penalty to both Rance and Roszak for Pushing Off Track. Rance - 10 second time penalty and 2 LC points. Roszak - 5 place grid penalty and 2 LC points.
  • Hut vs Fuller - As the field bunches, Fuller runs into the back of Matyac. While the field bunching unexpectedly is a mitigating factor, Fuller is ultimately responsible as the car behind to avoid contact. Penalty Fuller for Avoidable Contact - 10 place grid penalty and 3 LC points.
  • Fernandez vs McGaugie - Both drivers share responsibility for this incident. McGaugie makes an aggressive move to the inside but there is space. On the exit, McGaugie could have left a bit more space relative to the white line as required under 23.8, but Fernandez changes direction relative to the white line which resulted in contact due to fine margins of space. Racing incident.
  • McGaugie vs Butcher - McGaugie is never close enough to mount an attack meaning Butcher is not blocking, then in the final case McGaugie makes a clean pass to the inside. Racing incident.
  • Rance vs Vicentijevic - Vicentijevic fails to leave space for the car alongside. Penalty Vicentijevic for Pushing Off Track - 5 place grid penalty and 2 LC points.
  • Rance vs Roszak - Rance is never close enough to mount an attack meaning Roszak is not blocking. Racing incident.
  • Rance vs Roszak - While Roszak fails to leave space on the exit, he was forced over the apex kerb by Rance who also therefore failed to leave space, which will have compromised Roszak's line on corner exit. Racing incident.
  • Frelik vs Klont - Klont runs Frelik off the track in T1. Penalty Klont for Pushing Off Track - 10 second time penalty and 2 LC points.
