    As a general statement, not entirely specific to this incident, in an official test session where the idea is to gain mileage, trying to race each other is unnessecary. If there is a faster car behind trying to pass, the driver ahead should let them go and then get on with their own session, not excessively defend or block, while drivers behind should equally consider that they could back off and gain themselves some space. Common sense and respect for fellow drivers should take precedent and negate the need for any DC involvement.
